Festival of Arts Midwest

If you like art, you want to take in the annual art festival and the Festival of Arts Midwest’ You can attend both events taking place the first weekend in May at the fair in downtown Des Moines’ If you like art, is an ideal way for you to get two festivals for the price of one’ The center is a free show shuttle for those staying in the city and is considered one of the largest arts festivals in the Midwest’

CelebrAsian Heritage Festival

The second weekend in May, the Heritage Festival CelebrAsian held for over a decade’ This event will include cultural exhibitions, food, entertainment, rides and more, the carnival and is considered one of the biggest events of the family in Iowa today an event in Civic Center in downtown DesMoines’

Iowa State Fair

The State of Iowa is one of the largest state fairs in the country and was held in the same movie’ The living room features a large midway, entertainment, a rodeo competition and more’ It is held the second and third weeks of August each year at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines’
